Single Sign On Error Messages
Common errors seen with SSO implementations.
10008 - Different User
You'll see this error message in the following scenario:
- Start from https://app.projectorpsa.comÂ
- Enter email address and account code
- Click Log On
- Error 10008Â
Projector could not log you in via Single Sign-On because the user you entered for Log On is not the same as the one asserted by your Identity Provider. (10008)
The message indicates that the email address you sent Projector did not match the email address sent back by your SSO provider. For example, you send tom@mycompany.com from Projector, but then log into your SSO provider as sally@mycompany.com. If you are positive that you logged in with the correct accounts, then there may be an issue with your SSO provider's mappings or your account in your SSO system. Check:
- That your Projector email address matches your SSO email address
- That your SSO provider is sending an email address and not something else
