Error - Contract line item cannot be deleted

When deleting the only project on a contract line item you may encounter the following message - Contract line item cannot be deleted because it is in use elsewhere in the system

This message is displayed when revenue recognition has been run on the contract line item. You will not be able to delete the project. It should be closed instead.
