Error - DTM cannot be disabled for this project because of invoicing activity involving the project

When trying to disable Detailed Task Management (DTM) you may encounter the following error message: DTM cannot be disable for this project because of invoicing activity involving the project.



DTM cannot be disabled in the following situations:

  • Any of the time cards are on an invoice. Otherwise you would have invoices for task X, which may no longer exist on the source project. Thus destroying your audit trail.
  • A time card was transferred off of this project while DTM was on
  • A time card is pending transfer to this project
