Error - Unable to connect to server. Try again

While using Management Portal you may encounter the following error message: Unable to connect to server. Try again?

This error message appears when our servers are inaccessible from your computer. There can be many causes of this. You can help identify the cause by asking your IT team to run the following test - Troubleshooting Network Connectivity Issues to Projector

No Internet

First make sure that you have internet. If you cannot access sites like https://www.google.com then you will not be able to access Projector.

VPN

If you use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to connect to work, try turning it off to see if this resolves the issue. If it does, ask your IT team to whitelist our servers. It can also be the case that overloaded VPNs are processing Projector traffic so slowly that the connection is timing out. You can ask your IT team to prioritize Projector traffic or to increase the VPN's capacity.

Proxy Server

If your computer routes through a proxy server, the proxy server may be overloaded. This is often the case if Projector seems to "break" at around the same time every day. You can work with your IT team to increase the proxy server's bandwidth or ask that Projector traffic by prioritized.
