Management Portal requires Microsoft .NET to run. In general, as long as you have been applying recommended updates from Microsoft, Management Portal should just work. If it is not working, you may just want to run Windows Update and apply any outstanding items.

Specifically, we recommend version 4.6.2+.


The Easy Fix

Install Microsoft .NET 4.6.2 or greater. 

  1. Visit
  2. Download and run an installer for .NET 4.6.2
  3. Please restart your system even if you are not prompted to do so.
  4. Try and run Management Portal again.

.NET 4.6.1

Version 4.6.1 requires Microsoft security update KB4035036 in order to support TLS 1.1+. Because of this, we recommend installing .NET 4.6.2+ if possible. If all of this is technobabble, contact support.
