E-mail and

Tick the checkbox to perform the selected option when the invoice is issued. 

• Upload invoice to project workspaces - Your client can log into the project workspace to download a copy of the invoice. It is common to store past invoices here too.
• Include invoice as attachment -  A PDF of the invoice is attached to the email. Attachments are limited to 15mb.
• Embed invoice as HTML in email -  The invoice is converted to HTML and is included as part of your email.

Send e-mails from

This field autopopulates based on the client being billed. You can choose a different user from the dropdown list. This is the address that will appear in the From field when your client receives the email. This is also the address that any replies will go to. Adding or removing addresses from this dropdown needs to be done through the Projector support desk.

Projector recommends choosing a generic address like accounts_receivable@mycompany.com and forwarding responses to your finance department.

Send e-mails to

This list autopopulates based on the client being billed. You can manually add additional users to this list, but typically you would want to use the client editor to do so.

Using e-mail template

This field autopopulates based on the client being billed. You can manually override this to a different template. The email template should correspond to the radio button you chose under the E-mail and section. For example, if you chose to include the invoice as an attachment, your email might read, "Please find your invoice attached to this email."

Opens up the email template manager window.

With a subject line of

The default subject line is the invoice's name. You also have the option to change the default subject line to the invoice number. This default setting, called Invoice Email Subject Format is modified in the Account Settings Editor. You can manually override the subject line by typing in a new one, but you can't set a default subject line other than by virtue of the fact that invoice names are customizable. To edit your default invoice name go to and numbers can also be customized in the Account Settings Editor.
