When entering time and expenses or when using the management portal you may encounter the following error messages (or similar error messages).

When submittting time from the employee portal - Rejected on DATE for 'No accounting period is open for time entry at time of entered work'

When submitting an expense from the employee portal - No accounting periods are currently open for expense entry

Your accounting period is currently closed for the time card or expense card's date. You need to either create a new accounting period or open an existing accounting period for the date using the Accounting Period Editor.
