Tip

The solution to this is pretty easy. Go to your Engagement Contract Tab and set the earned by date further into the futureto later than your cutoff date.

Your cutoff date is on or after your earned by date

The problem earned by date is when you are encountering is that the date when all your revenue is supposed to be earned by, is inside supposed to have reached 100% revenue recognition. Projector complains because your revenue recognition end date range. Check the following to confirm:

  • You are recognizing less than 100% of revenue

    • is later than this. Or in other words, "how can you be earning revenue in January when you were supposed to be done in December?"
