Once both Projector and Slack are configured to communicate for Time Entry, individual resources can connect themselves to Projector<>Slack by working through the following self-authentication workflow.

  • Connect” in any channel to initialize the OAuth connection workflow. The Slack channel you use does not matter. You will be able to enter time from any channel

  • Click the “Connect To Projector” button to continue. A new browser window should open and work you through a series of three authentication-related pages.

  • Walk through the authentication flow in a new browser window. You should fill out the form with the Projector credentials you want to enter time for.

  • … if you choose to “Allow” the integration, you will see the following. If not, you won’t be able to enter time into Projector through Slack.

  • The final page is simply a confirmation that the connection request was successful.
