One of two forms will be shown dependent up on if the role is set to daily or weekly scheduling. If you are modifying a mix of hourly and weekly scheduled roles at the same time then only the weekly dialog is shown.

Move the slider to advance or delay the scheduled hours. You can use your left and right arrow keys for more precise control. The number of days or weeks that you are allowed to modify the hours by is constrained by the project start and end dates. For example, if there are hours scheduled on the last day of the project, then you will not be able to delay the schedule. To fix this modify the project start date and try again.
