Reporting Time Increment: This determines the granularity of time reported via user time entry. The choices, which are measured in minutes, are 3, 6, 12, 15, 30, and 60 when displaying hours in decimal format. The choice of 1 minute increments is available when displaying hours as hours and minutes.
Missing, Draft, or Rejected Time Alerts: Send email alerts when there is missing, draft or rejected time. When you first configure Projector, leave this box unchecked. Otherwise Projector will send emails to employees that have been set up in Projector, but that have not yet been asked to enter time. Once employees are able to enter time, check the box. If Projector calculates missing time by week, then being a few hours short on one day doesn't count as missing time as long as there are a few extra hours reported elsewhere during the week. Missing time emails are sent for time missing up to eight weeks in the past. Projector permits weekly, monthly, or accounting-periodly notifications. As some companies invoice twice a month or twice per accounting period, Projector allows two notifications per month or accounting period to help with invoicing, in addition to one or more per week.
Time to Approve Alerts: Send email alerts to users that have time to approve.
Require time approval for resources by default: If all time submitted by all resources must be approved then enable this feature. Otherwise time approval can be required on a resource-by-resource basis and a project-by-project basisEmployee Portal
Allow transfer/unapprove of fixed price time cards that have been through revenue recognition: Most companies will want to leave this unchecked, which means that time cards are locked down after being through the revenue recognition process. If the time cards are not locked down, then previously recognized revenue can be destroyed when a time card is transferred to another project or is unapproved.
